New Scholarship Applicants
After
you have submitted the OSAC form
to the state, you will still need to complete our application. To begin, please
review the scholarship qualifications section below.
Scholarship Qualifications
All applicants must meet the five mandatory criteria and at least two of the
elective criteria. If you do not meet these criteria, you will not be eligible,
and should not apply.
Mandatory:
- work 20+ hours per week during school year
- attending college at least 3/4 time
- cumulative GPA 2.5 or GPA 2.5 over last three quarters with solid course load
- pursuing careers in teaching or nursing
- volunteer or work experience relevant to chosen profession
Elective:
- non-traditional student (e.g. older, returning, parent)
- students who have overcome significant personal obstacles
- graduated from an alternative high school or obtained GED or transferring
from an Oregon community college to a 4-year college
